Its about $400 for the little driver side, side view mirror. MIRROR ONLY!!!!!
I gotta have mine replaced. Its not the auto-dimming which the rearview and right side mirror are. Not sure why?

Do you think Lexus did a swappity swap last time I was in there to get that auto-tilt repaired?

OH!! Thanks, LOL I was looking at the list price and not the you pay price.
Still pretty expensive.
Any one know if just changing the mirror requires the entire mirror assembly to be taken apart?
There's a DIY for the signals and shows some pics, but looks like theres a lot of taking apart that I may not necessarily need?

if you price something expensive enough, people will think it's really good, or really luxurious.

there's a compass, auto dimming, and a homelink..... just like the mirrors in other cars.


for the same type of mirror in a camry, it costs $560 for autodimming mirror, and $80 for non-autodimming.

When I spoke to my people it's b/c of the compass/homelink but yeah it is expensive.

This has nothing to do with Lexus being cocky a lot of OEM parts that should normally not need replacing cost a lot.

expensive is all relative...imagine replacing a part on a ferrari or lamborghini. expensive like hell, but the owners don't care coz they can afford it. now opposite story, have a kid who just bought his first beater and works at mickey D. his car is falling apart and he needs replacement parts. it's expensive for him, based on his income level as he needs to make ends meet. so it all depends on your frame of reference. but i agree tho, lexus parts are expensive.
