for $6K, i'd get aftermarket rims.

So seriously...are these two different sets of wheels? And if so, are the front the G37 wheels and the back M45 or vice versa or are neither of them M45s? I like the back better than the front, but can't seem to find the back wheels on Infiniti's website.

Nissan Skyline wheels.

I still think there are A LOT of options out there outside of throwing OEM wheels from another brand on your Lexus. Lets be honest the 3GS and G37/M45 share some cues and at a glance they can be confused somewhat. Not sure why you would want to throw their wheels on your Lexus

People will do what they want clearly which is fine, they are paying for it. Don't expect me to endorse this move as I have the same stance in the 2GS forum,

Don't do it, reconsider, read some literature on the subject!!

I can see where you are coming from but, I don't understand why people go out and buy the wack 18 inch GS Spyder wheels for more than an aftermarket 20 inch. Clearly, these are nicer than those. If you are going for a quality conservative look w/o breaking the bank, it is a good choice.

They are not whack, they are classy and don't scream for too much attention. Is the OEM price high? Yup. But people have gotten good deals on them just by asking.

Our vendors forum has tons of wheels for sale 19" and larger at great prices. A few examples are below. If you tell our vendors what you are wanting, they will likely find something for you.

19s for $1400 a set

Let me clarify...

It is wack (policy) to spend that kind of money to upgrade to GS Spyder wheels.

Also, I would not upgrade to 19 Inch. Too small for my GS.

wow, 80 replies, interesting turn for this thread. I can appreciate the critisism good and bad , the bottom line for me is , Is this wheel of decent quality and a good value, fit properlly and look good on the car. As I have said, I have a new g37s in the garage and I will test fit hopefully this weekend and post the pics, hey for all I know I won't like the way it looks in which case I'll look to you guys for more suggestions. There is an added benefit for me on this set up, the set is staggared, 19/8.5 frt // 19/9 rear. By purchasing another set I gain the benefit or rotating tires as I can put the 8.5's on one car and the 9's on the other, make sense?? Oh, and btw, my car is not yet lowered, but will be shortlly on ebachs or tanabe nf2's. special thanks to DJ!

^^^ I'm no expert, but you may need to buy the hubcentric rings. Otherwise, you may experience a slight vibration

You do know that our CL forum vendors sell the G-Spyder wheels for $248 less our forum 10% to 15% discount everyday, right?

http://www.sewellpartsonline.com/par...l.asp?id=88797

If I were looking for an inexpensive OEM-type wheel option, that's one I would consider.

No, I didn't know that. Thanks for pointing it out. Well, I guess that the cost-issue is now moot, but I still wouldn't consider it as an option to spend any money on. 18 inch is too small to be considered an upgrade on a GS.

Admittedly, I'm just hating b/c I dislike the style of it.

Hey guys, gotta relax a little.
Like Ap1 pointed out, it's kind of hard to detect sarcasm from a single post.
And 3GSPanda,, I didn't mean anything by quoting your post. I was just trying to point out that they do look the same and it's ridiculous to say the infinit's are rice. Of course, you can't justify paying over 6k for oem lexus rims compared to the infiniti or other aftermarket rims. But I guess that didn't translate.

they look the same from afar. but the ISF wheels have a different blade design.

and from an angle, the G37 wheels are more concave.

and as for our vendor wheels........... damn those are some ugly wheels. especially the Forgestar and Axis wheels. Can Axis engrave their name on anymore wheel spokes? that cheapens the look.

the only wheels I'd buy from our vendors are Volks. all the other wheels fail.

the spyder wheels, for $225 a piece, are definitely cheap..... for those that like that wheel.

as requested by someone, M45 wheels on the GS.
They look good as oem style wheels, but I personally wouldn't spend any extra money to get them unless they were my absolute favorite wheels.... However, if i had to choose between the spider wheels and this, this wins.
