I'm putting together boom system in the car and changing out everything, and my searches really haven't turned up much. I've even been to www.crutchfield.com and their results are confusing. I don't want to order the wrong size. This is the first system I'm putting together so I'm very new at the audio.

Already ordered the sub, amp, cleansweep, but I need the speakers and connectors. What brands are good? Leaning towards Polk or Boston Acoustics, but I might even go as far as getting Hertz or Focal

The website doesn't tell me exactly what size the speakers are. Didn't know that there were 14. I want to change out all of them

you can fit 5 1/2 and 6 3/4 in both the front and rear doors i would use 6 3/4 you will need to build a new ring outta wood to make it work.... i would also buy some dynamat

The clean sweep is good but I like the Rockford sixty it has 3 pre out not just 2 like the clean sweep im still thinking which one I should get for my Gs

Thanks for the advice. Did a search and all the speakers are 6.5". Fronts are 3 way component and rears are 2 ways. Not changing out the mids and highs.

I'm going with JL 12w6, cleansweep, alpine amp, hertz speakers

there's not 14 speakers in the non-ML version.

Yeah found out last night. Don't really know what to order now since crutchfield hasn't researched the car. Anyone have ideas for speakers

ok are u going to run a 5 ch amp for the speakers then a 1/2 ch amp for the sub?

if your running a speaker amp buy

1 pair 6.5 comp = putting the speaker in the door and tweeter on the top right and left of the dash

1 pair 6.5 comp = rear door and oem tweeter location

wou will need to find out the center speaker size as well, and replace it. all this can be wire up to a 5 ch amp. you will then need to run a second amp to power any subs you want to add
