Sorry if this question had been covered. Tried the search and couldn't find anything on this subject.

GS430 with Nav. The DVD keep auto play when the car start. I press stop (it did stop and nothing is playing nor making sound) and turn off the car, next morning I start the car and the DVD playing again. It will stay in map or whatever else I have the screen display the last time but the DVD is playing in the background. Anyway to stop this?

Anyway we can play mp3 in our dvd player? It's kinda strange to play DVD but no mp3.

don't know about dvd auto play

on the mp3, you have 2006, it has gen4 and doesn't play mp3 cds. starting 07 3gs can play mp3 cds

 

yup the 4th gen system does not support mp3's.

 

Just turn the audio system off using the volume **** / power switch. You can also leave it on Fm or something and DVD wont play

 

hmm.. if you don't want to play the dvd, why don't u just start the car off with FM or other cds?? so it doesn't start with that disk??

 

So only option is to replace it with '07 3gs? will it fit my '06?

I just want it to remember the status it was in before. With vol down don't that turn down other sounds?

you can replace the whole system with 07+ but that's not going to be cheap at all, doesn't make sense imho

turning off radio won't turn off other sound like voice guidance
