The mod that had to be done!
There are some who say this is blasphemy on a Lexus. I think it gives it a sleek look! Hey...when you gotta surf you gotta surf. Wifey & kids are out of town with the usual surfboard hauler so I had to improvise. I do get some funny looks for those that are wondering.

hauling a surf board on top of a GS is no big deal. a car is meant to be used, whatever sport you are into. now if this was done on a vip style GS, that's a different matter!

The real trick was figuring out how to purposefully lock the keyfob in the car without someone else just touching the handle to open the door. Someone would love to take my Lexus while I surf down here in San Diego. But it can be done. The rack is from a company called Block Surf, but I think they have snowboard racks too. They just wrap around the inside of the car...very easy and clean.
