Default 30k mile service/price?

Im about to go in for my 30k mile service to the dealer. I was quoted $800 by the first guy and then I spoke to another guy and he said around $650.

WTF? So I asked whats being done, and he mentions changing the battery in the key fob, changing the wipers, cleaning the battery terminal, oil, filter change, brake fluid change, rotating tires, checking/inspecting brakes, checking suspension, road test.

Does this really cost over 600 dollars to do? Anyone have any better prices they paid at the dealer?

on my GS300 AWD, at 30k I took it in for a brake fluid powerflush only. That was about a buck 50. The rest of the stuff on the 30k list I did myself.

I paid for a synthetic oil change + brake fluid flush for 120. Then I went and bought the two air filters online for like 60. The rest are inspections which they don't even really do.

My dealer quoted me about $545 before taxes. I have a Lexus Visa card that accumulates points which I can then use towards services and new vehicle purchases. So for my upcoming 30k service, I plan on letting the dealership do it and then using the points I've accumulated to cover the costs. Otherwise, I'm pretty sure I would do the service elsewhere for much less $$$

those items shouldn't cost $650 - $800 (labor + part together).

what is their rate?
