Default Props to my Service Advisor (Doug)

Hey guys I also want to share an experience I had with my local Lexus Dealer. My wheels had been damaged by the dealer at the last maint. service. My service advisor was apologetic and said he would take care of it. I dropped the car off got a loaner and two days later wheels fixed and He personally washed my car since I mentioned I didn't want the guys washing my car. IMO going above and beyond. Mad props to Doug at Bell Lexus.

DJ,
They took the wheels to a local wheel specialist that is able to refinish the wheel. The damage was very minor to begin with. You would have had to get up close to even notice it but since I hand wash my car it was noticeable to me. I have to say I probably have the best Service Advisor. I recently found out that he's I8ABMR service advisor also.

This is the one thing that will set any dealer apart from the rest. You should send something to the dealer or fill out a survey for all he did so he gets recognized for this

Definitely agree Mike, I got a call from customer service today to inquire about my visit to the dealership and I told them that I was extremely satisfied. In fact this dealership has been or still is #1 in customer service here locally. I know a guy who works in the service department for Mercedes and he tells me they try to emulate the service department for Bell lexus because they are known in the valley for their customer service. I just think him washing my car personally was above and beyond what I would expect and will let corporate know it.

I also get my serviced at Bell Lexus and Doug Boadt is my service advisor as well. I have to say that the guy is top notch ( and that still probably an understatement). He has been my advisor for the 2 years I have owned my GS350 and he never ceases to amaze me with his attention to detail and his ability to resolve issues for his customers. I have said on more than a few ocassions that if he left Bell Lexus I would go to another dealership ( no disrespect to any of the other advisors at Bell Lexus). I go about 20 miles out of my way to get my car serviced at Bell Lexus because he is there.

Example: I had my dash replaced recently and there was an issue with the vents for the defroster accidentally not being installed by the tech and it was resolved very quickly by doug and the shop foreman. I even got a nice 2010 RX loaner with Nav and satellite radio for the extra day they needed the car and was offered repeatedly by Doug to pick up and/or drop off the car personally. When I picked up my car I felt that the engine sounded louder. I mentioned it to doug and he took the time to actually set aside 30 minutes for me to ride around the block in a stock GS so I could compare it to my car. I am not saying that Lexus dealerships dont have great service, but what I am saying is that Doug Boadt is a notch or two above that. I hope his employer knows he is a valuable asset. Anyone with a Lexus in the Phoenix area should check him out if they are frustrated with their service quality.

This doesnt surprise me. Hey PM me corporates number and I will call. Every time I leave there I feel like I want to call someone and tell him what a great job he does. I did a couple of times, but at the rate I would need to call his boss because of his stellar work I would wonder if his boss thought he was paying me. LOL
