After receiving or making a call thru blue tooth or displaying reverse camera, the screen always returns to one of the screens accessible with the buttons on the right side (Maps, Dest, Menu).
I want it to return to audio. Is this possible?

I’ve tried messing the the “return to Maps…” setting in the Display Settings, but that doesn’t seem to matter.

Perhaps related, when pushing buttons on the left, they toggle between that screen ("audio" or "climate", for example) and the last one viewed on the right (Maps, Dest., or Menu). Repeated pushing of the buttons on the right does not toggle the display.

I have an '07 430 with ML, VAIS, and nav hack; perhaps this matters.
Perhaps this is discussed in the manual, but I do not have the manual set; available on line for free somewhere?

To my knowledge it will Auto back to the Navi unless you have that turned off. Its part of the settings as I have mine turned off. I assume if you turn that off it should go back to the screen (audio/navi/climate) that you where last on once you completed your call. If you want the screen while still on the call the only way that I am aware is to simply push the button. I am pretty sure this is what my car does once the call is completed.

Here in lies the issue I have: it doesn't do this. Regardless of that "return to" Display Setting, it will not go back to any of the screens accessible from the buttons on the left side of the screen. It always goes back a screen accessible from right side buttons (the last one accessed).

No big deal, but if there is a secret to getting around this, I'd like to know...

I am going to be in the car for a while in the next hour and I will try to make sure this is what mine does. I am hardly in my car long enough for the use of any of these things so I could be wrong. haha. I thought I changed mine for the same reason as I didnt want it to go to the navi all the time and I hardly use or even need to use it. I will post back later and let you know what mine does for sure and we can compare settings.

No dice...I was wrong. HAHA...it goes back to the Navi screen I guess by default. Shows how much I use this stuff. First long drive in a while today with the car. Everything was great
