Default Back to the body shop...again!!!

This has been the most horrid year in my life. My car was in the shop for body work from a previous accident. Went to pick up my car from lexus after 2 months of it being in the shop. Headed home and just enjoying my ride home even though it was rush hours. Begin to slow down due to traffic and "BAMMMMMMMMM" ...freakin got rear ended my a Ford Taraus. I was in disbelief. This just happened a couple days ago. I still cant believe this is happening to me. Just went to get an estimate today. Guys insurance is paying so i'm at least happy for that. Lexi took the hit quiet well. I know its all internal damage though, and have an exhaust leak.

Cliffnotes:5 minutes after picking up my car from the body shop got rear ended...back to the shop

iphone pix....sorry

Oh man...hang in there. I had one of those years before and it'll get better and you'll get through it. Just remember, it could be worse and be thankful no one was hurt!

Gawd man!!!...that is horrible. Can't even begin to realize how you are feeling right now. Thankfully no one was hurt, but like you, I would be throwing my hands to the sky and pretty much giving up. From the looks of that Taurus, he must have hit you hard...the Lexus held up very well, considering. Hang in there man.

lucky he had insurance. usually those crappy old cars have the lowest insurance coverage.

imagine getting rear ended by an illegal alien and his gardener's truck.

i hope his insurance gives you the best repair money can buy.

i know these bastard insurance companies like to cheap out and designate which body shops they'll pay for.

don't take any of that crap. choose your own shop, and send them the bill. and if they don't pay, take them to small claims court.

and before they put the bumper cover on, make sure the frame is repaired like new

btw, was the dumbass texting ?? did he have a phone in his hand when he stepped out?

Sorry to see that happened!!!

I think Mike (passnu2) is right on this one, time for you to trade it in for another one!!!

Because I think when you got your toy repaired, they painted invisible bulleye on your toy!!!

That had happened to me while I was in college, got hit 5 times in one freaking summer!!!

I bet he sure had the phone. I've seen many of these people texting while driving in rush hour traffic. Sorry to see this happened to you, bro. It's no fun to have your prime ride in the shop for repair.

it's gotta be that gray color.

it looks like asphalt in the rain.

maybe you should trade it........ and get a white colored car instead.

ha ha....my car was camo'ed out....darn asphalt!!! ha ha ha....

I'll tell you what.....to be honest....i'm glad i was in this car when getting in an accident vs. a prius or something small. With all the airbags and the weight of the vehicle it just kills so many cars out on the road. Feel really safe. I have to keep this car a while or at least till this economy pix up.

I feel for you, I had the exact same situation take place except that neither of them had insurance and I had to chase one of him to get him to stop. (that was actually kind of fun, I don't know why the honda ever thought he would win...)

Best of luck with the repairs!

White would be more visible on the road. LOL

And for the this vs other car, U can add the smart car to that list. The smart car won't get much damage but you will cause you'll be bouncing inside it.
