Hi I drive a 2009 GS 350 AWD and I notice that when I am stopped at a red light and I lay off the brake to inch up I hear a squeaking noise while the car is moving slowly. Is this supposed to be like that or not?

I have the same problem. Plus the oem brakes from Lexus I have grabs a little so when I'm trying to ease off on the brakes when I'm at the light...I have a tiny jerk from the brakes grabbing. I noticed I hear a lot of squeaking in the morning...but it usually goes away after 10 min or so. Periodically I'll hear it and its annoying...

To the OP, how long have you had your car? If it hasn't been that long, I'd say give it some time. I have noticed that on most cars I have owned the brakes will squeak when you try to inch forward with them running cold.
As for the second poster, that is normal. Surface rust and moisture has accumulated on your car's brakes during the night and is periodically burned off as your brakes heat up.
