Welcome to the CL. I just got an AWD 07' GS350 a month ago so far so good and I like it very much. Just check the service record and make sure all TSB have been performed on the car prior purchase.

I've got the same car you're looking for (sans Mark Levinson). My only regret so far (and it's not really that much of a regret) is that I didn't push my dealer harder to find me BSP with Black interior.
It only took 650 miles after puchase to replace the factory brakes with the dustless brakes. Some people have problems with squeaks and others don't. I got so tired of cleaning the wheels daily from the enormous amounts of brake dust...and this was on 8 miles of driving (city driving, but still). Brakes work wonderful and can get by much longer without having to clean up the wheels.
Black Sapphire in direct sunlight is amazing....you'll love the color.

not sure if you are getting new or used, but since the lexus is known for reliability and service, you shouldn't be worried.. i have an 08 AWD and no problems so far other than few rattles here and there. brakes are good, but a lot of brake dust on front wheels (need to be washed often)..
