Has anyone replaced the emblems for Black Pearl? I saw a GS350 with black pearl emblems and black chrome GS450H wheels and man it looked pretty good! Post pics if you got them!

 

your better off painting them that color. i think for the emblems alone its close to 300 bucks

 

I like them too. Please post the best deal you can find. My friend has them on his blue 430 and it looks so superior/badass next to mine.

It is made by Tamiya. It is the polycarbonate ps-31 smoke..

You can get a clear to go over it also. I just did mine this afternoon. Will try and post pics.

Just a thought... if you are going to paint the emblems with Tamiya PS-31, why not paint all of the chrome on the vehicle to match!!!

Thought of doing that since I got my toy in 2006, but do not have the time to do it (just being lazy!!!)... and yes, I am too cheap to have them done at the body shop!!!

Mesca, you can get them at any of hobby shop (R/C store or Hobby Lobby); if they do not have it, usually they would special order it for you, or go visit their new HQ in Irvine CA (their HQ used to be in NJ, I used to go by to get new toys!).

 

I have some black pearl emblems on my SGM GS and I think it looks sick.

 

Paint on the emblems, especially in the front, is terrible... rock chips make it look like dung in no time at all! I did that originally and then replaced with real black pearl emblems from Carson. It was too much maintenance to keep touching up every chip.
