Default is there a bluetooth reset

I have an '06 gs without nav but it does have bluetooth. Recently I had to exchange my cell phone for another cell phone [ same carrier, same plan all I did was turn in my 8-month old non-functioning razr v3xx and got another razr v3xx].

I tried to link up the new phone to the car's blue tooth and it will link but wont automatically link when i turn on the car (my old phone auto linked everytime i turned on the car). It's like it clears out the stored info everytime i turn off the car (not literally since the phone is still listed).

I had the guys at longo lexus give it try, they went through the same exact step i went through to link it up and nothing! once the car turned off it wouldn't automatically link. The phone's bluetooth connectivity settings are all set to auto, phone is set up correctly, it pairs up okay just doesn't autoconect when i fire up the car. The funny thing is that the phone auto connects to the bluetooth portable headset i have just not the car's.

SO, I have tried every combo to get this to work and nothing. My question is, is there any way to reset, bring back to default settings the GS' bluetooth system?? I manually deleted everything (phones, phonebook #s etc) stored in the GS' bluetooth feature but would still like to "reset" if it's possible.

Any ideas would be appreciated.
