Default Lag When Accelerating?

I noticed few days ago that when i attempt a full throttle; My 460 almost hesitates to launch; like after a few milliseconds it does ; Has anyone noticed this with their cars?

It probably (up/down)shifts, which does make it feel like there is a delay.

this is because a GS has a electronic throttle other cars ...say a camaro uses a wire cable from the gas pedal to the throttle body the electronic throttle has a delay to save gas.

blitz makes a throttle controller that will help fix this. there are other brands that plug right into the pedal connector to fix this im trying to go through my magz to find the brand

you have 8sp.. that's why

takes awhile to downshift.. that's the only downside

There's a slight throttle lag, but most luxury cars have electronic throttles, and this one is not bad. Certainly far less noticeable than the epic throttle lag on the E-Class.

I wouldn't worry about it. I remember the first few months I had my car I launched the car from a light and the car hit the limiter before it shifted. It was strange and has only happened a few times since then ....weird

The same thing happens to me while in S-Mode tho. Car sometimes shifts from gears 1 to 2 normally, but sometimes hits the limiter harshly to shift to gear 2
