dont mean to sound rude but I have run both sizes so I know what I am talking about. You are guessing. Its funny when people talk with so much authority to only put their foot in their mouth. The 245/30 looks small when the car is dropped like mine. My car is a little lower than your car so I wouldnt expect you to understand. I aware that tires also have a load rating?? I am not saying people should all switch but the fact is that the 245/30 and the 235/30 are not rated high enough to technically hold the weight of our cars. I had no issues with dents after 2 years of 245/30, but the 255/30 looks nicer and will more safely hold the weight of the car. I just replaced my tires because the two fronts failed. One had a bubble and the other had tread that was separating. AZ is hotter than any where else in the USA. Mix a heavy car with balding tires that are actually not strong enough to hold the weight of the car and thats what you can get

Looks fine from what I can see I8! I might try 255/30/20 in the future as well.

Like I have said its not to big like a 245/35 , but will give a bit more sidewall than a 245/30 and add more protection as well as a better ride. What are you dropped on???

I like it, looks good to me I am not a fan of stretched tires though. Are you going to balance it out with a new rear tire or leave it as is? I would go 285 on the rear but that is me.

here are some shots. I am probably going to leave the rear alone because part of why I did the change was to close the gap in the diameters of the front and rear tires.
I took some great shots of the car in the driveway today but the forum limit will not et me post the picture due to size . These crappy ones are the only one that would show up

Ummm....the house looks solid. Turn my head to look at the pictures and I completely missed the fumble on the return kick by the Bills against the Patriots

Nice house... but you probably need to do more close up shots of the tires to validate your statement.

Here are some closer shots I took today as well. This will give you a closer look at the front tires. There are some crappy garage shots earlier that give the closest look.

this pic pretty much shows me exactly why i think the tire is way too wide for a 8.5 wheel. but then again, it's not my car
