Hey guys well I recently Just joined your community and had a few question

I've been reading post and threads but I just need to reassure my self


I have a 2006 gs with navi and Mark levension


my car does not read mp3s? will a dvd audio cd do the job?


and I was reading the bluetooth dvd thread is that to by pass our navi without buying NAVTV?

2006 models do not play MP3s. I *beleieve* they play DVD-A discs though.

DVD +-R is a physical type of disc. DVD-Audio is a disc format and since you Have the Mark Levinson audio, it will play in the changer. You have to use software that will generate DVD-A formated discs, but you will be able to put about 6-7 albums on a DVD-A disc if you use PCM lossless or somewhere between 40-50 albums on a DVD-A disc if you use compression. Search for DVD Audio. There are a number of threads already out there on how to create these discs.
