^ yea the Michelin Pilot sport A/S plus are a pretty beefy tire. I used one in the past to test fit and it was the worst tire I could have used. They are a great tire, had them on a previous car, and I was impressed with them. Every Michelin tire I have owned has been good to me. I dont care for my current tires but for 550$ for all 4 (mounted/balanced/&tires) I guess I cant complain. I will chew them up and replace them with something better. I was thinking of testing out the Nitto Invo. I may take mine back to a 245 from the 255 so I have so more breathing room. Depends on how the front turns out and if I can lower the car as I want to.

I have been looking at the car a lot recently to see how it looks and how well it sits and I have to say I am much happier with the way the car looks with the 255/30 Falken FK 452. When you do a 245/30 the front of the car will tend to dip forward because the front 245/30 is smaller than the 275/30 ( I am not sure if you are running a staggered set up). I think some members have a 265/30/20 in the rear which helps with clearance, but I am not feeling the stretched look, and my issue is with the front.I want a safer tire that will allow me a better ride, tread wear, and that will give te car a more balanced look. I am taking her in on Monday to have the car raised up about 8 - 10 mm front and rear to give me more clearance, tire life , and ride quality. I had the dealership trim a touch off of the plastic fender liner. That and a touch higher will give me the clearance I need for a full car and maybe even a set of tires that might go to 20k ( I would be amazed).
As far as the Michellin Pilot sport A/S plus I was pretty sure it was fatter than the falken but when I looked it up I was shocked. The Michellins run 1/4" wider section width for a 255/30 and .38" for a 275/30 in comparison to the Falken in the same size. I looked at the Nitto invo as well and they are almost exactly like the Falken in size. In light of this discovery and the desire to have a tire hat runs a better load capacity I am sticking with the Falken in the 255/30 . I considered the 245/30 in the Michellins but I didn't want a wider tire as much as I wanted a higher side wall to off set the tilt from the smaller diameter from the 245/30 relative to the 275/30, and to fill the fender well a bit with out having the car be set so low.
I guess I am pretty much limited to the Nitto INVO or the Falken FK452. I will try to research more of the section width info for Pirelli and maybe continental. Like I said before, its a tight rope.

I have Toyro Proxes 4. I wanted the Invo but they didn't offer my rear tire size but I think they do now? I have seen them on 2 cars locally and they seem like a good option. Mine seem to have a slight stretch to them with my current size. I am ~ 30 days away from snow tires so I wont be changing these out. I do want to get the car set right and have my TOE corrected.
