Having a front camera is a wonderful thing

Pictures please.
I have considered to add a front camera since the Vaistech ML+ has a video 3 input for that. I see the front camera most useful for front-in parking to avoid hitting the curb and bump stops. !!

All you need to know is the trigger voltage the unit is set at.
A regular switch, fed from a voltage equal to what reverse supplies, or dropped down to that level via a resistor, would let you activate the input.
Getting fancy, you'd need to use a combination of speed sensor, and throttle position to know when you're stationary at a junction or parking.
I'd have said parking mode is best done manually, as you should be able to gauge the width of your car and position, and you've Park Assist to help audibly to gauge distance from the front bumper to things around you.
Of course, you'd need two cameras, and the unit would need to be able to take both live feeds, and mux them into a single dual display output, like you can with that mode on the Map display.

Wow, I'm very curious to see where and how the second monitor is mounted. Another idea, if possible would be to have a module that would split screen (top and bottom) the stock monitor. One more thing. +555555. Please show us some pics.
