Initial Test Fit update:
1st prototype fitting completed 9/30/09 by Invidia, and Team SNS (Chris).
Prototype was installed on my GS300 (identical exhaust measurements with 350s/430s). Initial adjustments made on the first prototype for improved/perfect fit. Shop time=3 1/2 hours.
The goal is to have a completely bolt-on, OEM fitting mid-pipe section.
Awaiting 2nd prototype completion by Invidia. Second test fit to be scheduled.
Initial Impressions:
Invidia, and Team SNS are extremely meticulous on achieving perfect fitment.
Very promising product for the 3GS platform. An alternative product that can rival other more mainstream systems.

Like he stated, this session was full of modifying fitment and perfecting it to fit on the car. After several hours, we got it done...

Im trying to look for another potential group who might be interested.
I don't want to get side tracked at this time...this SNS/Invidia Midpipe test fit requires a lot of attention.

Notable increase in sound compared to the ULTRA QUIET Stock exhaust setup.
In a nutshell; the INVIDIA mids gave the 3GS an exhaust note similar to the stock Infiniti G35/ FX35 (simplest way to describe it).
No internal cabin Drone when cruising at 80mph (2000rpms)
No internal cabin Drone going steep downhills (engine braking)
Power: I will defer any claims/statements until i can verify this objectively.
On a sidenote:
**I heard the complete INVIDIA 2IS Cat-Back system in person, and the sound is OUTSTANDING. Absolutely no internal cabin drone, not too loud. It reminded me of my old MB E55 W210 with the BRABUS exhaust, and resonator delete....Highly recommended exhaust combo for the 2IS platform...Best bang for the buck

thx spine. i'm curious tho what your "butt dyno" tells you. can you tell there is a difference after installing the mid-pipe? i'm also curious what kind of gains there are when matching the mid-pipe to stock exhaust. any chance you'll do a dyno with your current setup? thx
lol..."butt dyno" is very subjective, and the 3GS rides like a yacht on calm waters. can't have the butt do the talking-i want to be as accurate as possible.
