hi all, new member and about to purchase a 2007 GS 350.
i want to buy vossen 20" wheels and need expertise on the best tire sizes. i'm getting the stagger fit, 20x9 in the front, 20x10.5 in the back. looking at 245/30/20; 275/30/20. good to go?
will also put eibach pro kit to lower the car so want to ensure the tires won't rub. also, would i need to get a camber kit for the rear?
thanks in advance for all your input. lots of great rides posted here and hope i can contribute in the future.

no, imho you either do 245/35/20 and 275/30/20 (overspec setup) or 245/30 and 275/25
i don't know of any camber kit for this car yet. and for the rear, with 10.5, depending on clearance, might want to look at 285. also, with overspec tires, you will more likely rub
welcome to the club

Depending on the offsets in the front, you might need to do some fender mods up front. rominl has a very good DIY on fender rolling here: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-...iscussion.html
If you daily drive the car, and especially in CA, I would recommend the overspec setup rominl suggested above. You most likely won't rub in the rear with a minor fender shave because of the 275/30 stretch on a 10.5 wheel (again, if your offsets are aggressive you might rub). Make sure to follow the DIY. Bend the tabs at the 10 and 2'o clock position and push the liner "up", and make sure to shave down the metal brackets that hold the fender and bumpers together (both front and rear). There is a lot of excess metal there, and not only might it rub with the overspec tire sizes, but the metal will slash up your tires.

Well see if this can help I have the vossen rims on my car, my front tire is 245-30-20 and rear is 275-30-20 plus I have the tanabe DF210 its 2.0F/1.8R. My car do not rub at all, even with three people in the back and a full tank of gas . If you want you can got to the sticky that say 3gs wheel thread and my car will be on page 2 ,its the red GS 430.

also looking at vossen wheels. tires I was thinking of doing were 245/30/20 and 295/25/20...those sizes match the OEM spec diameter. I believe Vossen's offset are F +38 and R +45. Not sure if the tires will rub with those offsets.

your car is too legit. nice work. i've read others that say tanabe DFs with 20s will rub in the front and back.. seems to be the set up you have.. but you stated you haven't experienced this.. just want to know if you had to roll the fenders? am debating between the NF's but they don't seem to bring the car low enough.. i like the look of the DFs but afraid of rub and a rough/bumpy ride.. thinking eibach pro kit (which is an in between drop) may be the move... but just wanted to know your experience. thanks.
