That's BS....at least at my dealership (Lexus Westminster) they're hanging in the parts department. By the way...the dark brown really looks NICE with the tan interior. If you look a little closer, the dark brown (realy a dark brown/olive) compliments the dash board and steering wheel colors on the Lexus and is nice contrast to the Lexus tan (Ivory, I think its called) . At least in my 2008 tan interior.

As "stormforge" mentioned. They attach with hooks...no problem with slippage. Contrary to "Iateabmr", I think they look nice and functional...not like the cheap and thin factory floormats that come with the car and soil up and SHED (if you wear any type of shoes with lugs) up easily.

Another tip. The light tan foot rest is useless (too soft) and gets dirty quick, right? Go to you local VW/Audi dealer and pick up the foot rest pad for the golf in dark brown (don't know what VW calls the color). It is larger AND has a slight up-curve along the entire left side where your dirty shoe would otherwise soil the tan carpet. Attach the VW foot rest to your limp foot rest with velcro. It works like a charm (firm foot rest) and MATCHES the Lexus mat perfectly.

I wanted to write an update to my original post.

Lexus finally came through and provided me with what they call "the last all weather mats in the country." Whether that's true or not doesn't matter to me, what does matter is that I now have black all weather Lexus mats in my car. It only took 10 months.

 

Geez...sad and frustrating that you to fight for something they promised to you in writing.

Congrats on the WIN! I have those black mats in my car too, i love them!

 

They claim most of these All Weather Mats will be available for sale again sometimes in September, at least in the NY Area.

 

lol maybe you can ebay it with the words "last one in the country" and make some money j/k
