Default what good is Safe-Guard tire warranty???

got a bubble in the back tire. looked like the tire was coming off. but it wasnt terrible. i didnt even noticed till someone pointed it out.
went to the dealer, Thompson in Doysletown, PA. he said i musta hit a pot hole and the alignment might be off too.
$340 for the tire replacement
$130 for the alignment

i was all gleeful because i thought the safe-guard warranty i bought for $500 would cover. afterall, thats why i bought it to protect myself from potholes. apparently, that warrany was useless. so what does that piece of paper???? sigh.

that's odd, so what does the warranty apply on?

on my bmw i have tire protection plan and anything happens to the tire i get a new one (alignment not included of course)

and btw, 340 bucks for tire replacement, that sounds awfully expensive

I want to try to return my warranty. I called them when I had a bubble but thought it was a dent and they said it would only cover the wheel if the wheel could no longer hold air. That BS. I have dented some wheels in the past and all of them held air. I feel like over my last two visits/encounters with my Lexus dealership has left a bad taste in my mouth. Funny because just a few months ago I called corporate to say why a great job they were doing. Now I want to call to bash them them for the dash fiasco and because the replaced my old steering wheel with one with blemishes and they will not replace it. I am pissed

according to dealer, the bubble must had been my fault hitting something. it is not a tire defect, so Dunlop prolly wont cover it.
called Safe Guard up. company said it would replace if there's interior damage like a cut! no cut was found, no deal.

a bubble is not "interior damage"? that sounds very weak. i mean bubbling means the inside and outside walls are separating, that's one hell of a damage to me. very lame warranty imho

is this warranty one of the extra crap services they tried to sell you after you negotiated the price of your car?
