when you can search for the closest chipotle and order from your phone without having to talk to anybody...that's a good product.

Pretty soon we might be able to drive our toy remotely, just like in James Bond's movie!!!

Anyone actually had the Viper SmartStart installed yet?
I asked Lexus of Bridgewater about it. They suggested I dont do it because they dont know how the security system will behave and the lock/unlock button on my original Lexus fob will no longer work. They want $700 to install a Viper Responder One. I know I can get a cheaper price but after the bumpy start I had with my car, I dont think I want anyone else in it but Lexus for now.

Wow that is something but I'll pass. For one I have Sprint which means no Iphone. The range I get with my existing Viper remote start is very good.

i dont think you can use it for the ITOUCH. it needs service for the app to work. so that means you will have to find wifi for it to work

thats not totally true the locks will have to be opened from the starter remote only when the car starter is being used. and if you have the after market alarm on you cant use the touch handles or it will set the alarm off my toltal cost was 340$ with a compustar alarm starter installed but i did the work.

Damn! I have an iphone but have the Viper 791vx model which I had for like four years now. They said it's not compatible. Sucks! Hopefully soon they will have an update somehow to fix this problem.
