LOL, consider yourself a trend setter? Sucks but I saw this coming due to the fact that a lot of 3GS drivers don't have kits, which in turns means that no one is really buying the kits. Most of the desired/high end kits are placed on order in the US and then awaited delivery from Japan to the states and then user.

Yeah, it sucks for those that got the kit when it first came out. I guess you have to think of it as the price of exclusivity. Then again its like anything else, rims, cars, mods, phones, clothes, shoes etc, you can only be the new kid on the block with it for so long before everyone and their mom has one.

If in not mistaken, there is only a few kits out there(aside from CarsonTuned) made of polyurethane.
Looking at maying's drop height(or any other slammed autos)- i would stay away from anything FRP especially for the front lip.
*considering the quality, fit, and poly front/rear material- IMO, this kit deal is just INSANE!!

There is nothing wrong with FRP. It's all in the way you drive. Mine would still be perfect if I didn't kiss the parking block but it's not too bad. Barely noticable unless you know what your looking for.

I got a call from Carson. They are about two days behind in shipping orders. Their rep site said sometimes their shipping method defaults to Next Day, that is why some of us might have been charged 85.00 for shipping. I changed to ground and shipping was 45.00.

One downside is that MOST of these JDM (original) kits are made of FRP.

and most importantly, frp is very repairable. it's so easily to repair frp, i cracked my body kits before and i repaired myself.
but polyurethane, although seems more flexible, but they are usually a lot heavier, and they can still crack or break. and if that happens, it will be a complete pain to repair it. in fact a lot of shops don't have the right ability to repair them too
