I do the same thing. . . Heavy base music usually does the trick for me.

I am feeling you. Turn the volume up to 40 and just cruise with some nice music. I am getting a little tired of the exhaust droning as well though. I am getting close to just saying Fk it and putting on the stock exhaust. I just hate the tiny tips on the stock exhaust but I am sure I will get used to it. I am wondering if I will hear more rattles if the exhaust is gone

That was my problem, fix one rattle and two more will show up. Sometimes I like to drive with no radio on, total silence. That was one of the reason I like Lexus, the quiet cabin, the rattles kind of ruin that Lexus experience.

Thanks for all your input. It's a sad day for Lexus when owners of Lexus cars have to discuss rattle problems that simply will never go away due to increased use of cheap materials. Way to go and save money. I bet they would be more profitable if they used quality parts and would not have to spend the time and money trying to fix these problems. Oh well.

Have you seen what they do to your car to "attempt" to fix rattles. I'm stupid and on my third try. About the same to get to the AC evaporator too.

Does this scare anyone away? Each time they screw something up.

Actually, that dash taken apart looks a whole lot neater than when I had to do the same to my '93 300E to replace the evaporator!

Jeez.. I made appointment on Monday for the dash rattle TSIB. I'm debating if I should get it done or leave it alone.

That picture is nucking futs...now that I see that I would never submit car to that (again)....Lexus actually bought my original GS300 back in 2007 for too many attempts to fix rattles. I bought a used one, and stuck some door seal foam at the front end of the dash and called it a day.....
