Also, if it is something you care about, the sound of the GS460 is a heck of a lot meaner than the GS450h. Lexus has excellent sounding V8's, especially when you set them off with a good after market exhaust. It also takes a bit to get used to CVT and hearing the engine hold at a certain RPM when you are used to it going through the whole rev range. These are minor things, but to some people they matter a lot.

At the IS-F event, I drove both the GS450h and GS460 around the race track. The GS450h had the optional APSSS on it. That one option alone made a night/day difference in the body roll. Also I felt that the GS450h had slightly better throttle response. As seemless as the auto tranny in the 460 was, there was still a noticeable pause when downshifting. The CVT on the other hand, is always in the proper "gear", so the power seems to come more immediately when you stomp on the gas suddenly. Overall, my impression was that the GS450h, when equipped with APSSS, had a slight performance edge over the 460.

While the GS350 is a very quick car, its V6 does not give the same feeling of low-end catapult-like urgency that the other 2 have when you get on it from the stop.

I say 460 all the way you cant beat a sound of that V8. Its like hearing the sound of a E500 and then you hear the sound of a E55AMG . The 450h its like shhhhhhhhhhhhh

It would be useless to mod any 3rd gen GS...all performance upgrades are basically nullified by the ECU (you might gain something like 10 hp with major intake/exhaust upgrades).

Personally I think 350 is good enough, unless you need more torque then you should consider one of those bad boys in the picture!!!

(This picture is from my single friends when they went on road trip with their toys in Sept!!!
This picture only represent 1/3 of toys in their group!!!)

The GS450h is the 3nd fastest lexus. (LFA supercar 1st, IS-F second) .... I dont think you will need any more power than stock!

Everyone has gotten good advice. 450hs and 460s are simply much rarer vehicles to find compared to a 300/350/430. It will be a challenge to find your color choice. Most 450hs sold were 2007 models. The 460 debuted only a couple of years ago as a 2008 model.
White on black will be tougher to find than black on black. The latter is an easier combo to find. Most have beige leather.

yeah you are very right, ill keep on hunting for the color, if i dont find it by the end of this week ill consider another color with the beige interior then, but it gets so ugly, dirty and nasty so quick

Are you talking about the white one on the right!?!

GT-R ,NSX-T, and DB9 were the only ones that are not from Italy or Germany...

One way to check if it has APSSS is to look in the trunk where the spare is and you can sorta peek and see a bunch of electric stuff instead of a spare. Good luck finding one!
I was wondering do you have a picture of it? i'm curious to find out what it looks like on my GS450h, i think i do have it, but i would like to confirm!

Thanks!
