I ve been riding 22s for 3 years with a 30 series tire through dc and baltimore(cautiously) and i ve never had a problem, not that it can t happen however you can bend a stock rim with a 45 series tire too! As for shaving ball joints I don t know to each his own ice350's cars are nice I little to conservative for my taste we don t have to worry about running over alligators up here so a 30 series tire is cool with me! and if your worried about bending rims get them insured at 2k a pop best believe that extra $15-20 a year is worth it! And another thing the car comes with 17s so if 22s are oversized 20s arent
There is nothing you can do with 22's.

My stock diameter is 25.75 inches the diameter of my 22s with tire is 27.25 so an 1.5 inch difference not that serious, so instead of a huge drop and smaller wheels i have a small drop with bigger wheels and my wheel fills the entire wheel well and not just the top

Sorry but I think 22s are too big and don't look good with the GS. It makes the car look like a SUV. Plus, I think the car is not longer considered a luxury vehicle once you modify it to a certain point (and in my opinion 22s are past that point). Defeats the purpose of getting a Lexus other than the symbol and name.

You first need to work on your grammar . And if you ever put 20's on a civic then you will get royally flamed by everyone with common sense And its called proportion, yes the GS comes stock with 17 & 18's, but with 22's you would need a kit and a proper drop to make the wheels look proportional to the rest of the body. Putting on 22's on such a car is like implanting double DD's on a girl who's 5'2 and weighs 90lbs

close,my girl is 5'2 with dd's and 112 so atleast im consistent and if you like guys like your cars to look like bagged S10's thats also your business I however like big wheels and don t like most body kits maybe its just the different styles for different places. We probrably don t dress the same either as a matter of fact whats the dress code to drive a lexus? And as far as my grammar goes i didn t know this was a spelling bee half of my post are off my phone so i don t always feel like putting all the symbols in sorry if it was too hard for you to understand what i was saying!

Again, it's a matter of proportion....and personal taste. 20's are the largest the new GS chassis can handle without looking out of balance. My true test is if I look at a car for the first time, and the first thing that hits me is the SIZE of the wheels, then they are too big.
The first time I saw a pic of your car, the first thing I noticed was the size of your wheels. So, in my opinion, the wheels are too big and out of proportion. When I look at how a car is modded, I look for proportion, execution, use of material, overall theme, and fitment. I personally don't care for a single feature that over powers the balance of a car.
Again, this is just my opinion.

Everyday I come home and grind away or cut something else out from the wheel well Im running out of things to grind looking good though I have the wheels as close to flush as i can get and still drive the car around turns! I guess Im gonna go at it one more time tommorrow and then drive like an old person! And I know for a fact that the heavy hitters Gs has to do 15 mph around turns or its rubbing looks good though!

looks good. your on clublexus with a gs on 22s, 90% of people will hate it. all forum people hate big wheels except eastcoast ryderz.
they dont hate on the guy who runs 21s, but 22s= no way in hell lol.
there aint a big difference in 21s to 22s
