some people dont want the rwd. i live in toronto and want to drive it in the winter. awd is wicked in the winter, and we get heavy snow here somtimes. so for people who drive in the winter and need it everyday awd is the ****.

However, the GS RWD and GS450h are above average and recommended, even though they have the exacy same brakes, sound system, panels, etc.
So it's completely bogus.

I posted about it in the car chat forum. Essentially, according to the Consumer Reports, the Lexus AWD has different brakes, sound system, body panels, and some other things. This puts it at the bottom of its class and makes it "very unreliable" according to them.
However, the GS RWD and GS450h are above average and recommended, even though they have the exacy same brakes, sound system, panels, etc.
So it's completely bogus.
