Wind noise from the sunroof
I have been trying to get Lexus to fix the wind noise in my sunroof but all attempts have been fruitless. They keep telling me that it's normal sound from "AIR TUBES"??? WTF? I had 10 cars before this one and not a single one sounded like I am on a boat. While driving the loaner ES350, I did not hear a similar wind noise and yet they tell me no problem detected. Lexus is really pissing me off.
Are you guys experiencing the similar issues? I am thinking of taking it to another dealer; however I am worried that they share the database of all the attempted repairs and will say the same thing.
Any recommendations?

I have the same problem, they have tried to fix two times, but have failed two times. All they do is lube the seal and that seems to help only a little, than a week later the wind noise is back. It sounds like the window is open a quarter of an inch. I,ll give them ( newport lexus) one more try, before I try to fix it myself with a 1/4 inch bulb seal. Sometimes things just aren't getting fixed till you do it yourself...Truth....

Lexus Fanatic
I have had wind noise from the side mirrors, (sun roof rattles, rattles from the dash, creaks from the console, and rattling from my F sport sway bars as well) that the fixed by replacing the mirrors. I know this stuff is a pain in the ***. Initially they tried to tell me that the noise was only heard because the car was already so damn quiet. All I know is I love my car but I thought I would have less issues with it.

I am thinking of putting some electrical tape on the back edge of the roof opening. Hopefully this will seal it up, and if it does I am going back to Lexus and telling them that they need to replace the rubber seal around the sunroof. I am getting tired of all the excuses they come up with. I never had these type of issues with Infiniti.

I use Shin-Etsu Grease on all my rubber seals, the doors and especially the sunroof. You will find you only need to do this once or twice a year and a little goes a long way.
Honda dealers stock it, its about 12.00 a tube I used it on my wifes Odyssey door seals and its spectacular
