Default I Made BooBoo

Here I was just loving my car all over again since getting new wheels and then today I did a booboo.
I pulled up too close to a bump stop, didn't see the metal rod sticking out of it. When I backed out it ripped my bumper. Split the bumper cover underneath and all this plastic stuff was hanging down.
Man am i pissed for being so careless. Now that's money that didn't need to be spent.
I'm telling you guys, sometimes this lowered car thing is a pain in the rear.
Can't get this outta my mind until it's fixed...but I'm gonna try. Don't have time to take it in until next week.

Ouch! Sorry to hear. Maybe this will give you reason to get a body kit?

I agree being low is a pain in the *** for sure. But I haven't driven a stock height car in 12year.

Sorry to hear this hope it doesn't cost you to much.

It's ok Reggie. Bumpers are easier to fix then rims. LOL, I thought it had something to do with the wheels.

I did something like that in my G35 and I was pissed. I, like you, was kicking myself because I am usually so careful with the car

make sure your body shop is solid. You dont want some clown rushing your paint work

that sucks. i did something similiar when i got my ps dvd/navi override. wasnt paying attention when i backed up and just barely grazed the corner of the garage. just enough to put a bubble in the paint so the rear bumper had to be repainted.

I am trying so hard to not think about it. Good thing the damage is mostly under the front bumper. I pushed all the plastic up under there and it seems to be holding without falling. I gotta hit the highway so I'll see if the plastic falls again. The scratches make me cringe though. Maybe that kit is closer to my home now.
Eric, check your pm.

LOL, an excuse to buy a kit. Hopefully the kit can cover up the area?

Sorry to hear this Reggie. Hope you get fixed up soon. Since I lowered w/kit I park about a foot away from those parking bump stop things. My homeboy always jokes he can fit a mini cooper in there...I don't care better safe than...
