What were you driving before your GS?

$35,399 1999 Toyota 4Runner Limited 4wd, millenium silver with beige interior, my first car in sophomore year highschool. Perfect SUV i still have it with 180,999- ish miles. In it's entire life i had only replace 2 things that wasn't maintainance such as brakes, tires, oil, windshield wipers, and such and such was the starter and alternator. A/C still cold as ice and paint still gleaming. I totally got my money's worth and is money well spent. Will never part ways.
2007 Lexus GS black with black, my second car after grad school.
2009 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 black with black, my toy.
All three are in my garage.

I had a Lamborghini Murcielago LP640, but it burnt down along with my manor house when Ra's Al Ghul set fire to the mansion. Somehow the Phantom survived. Anyway I'd put so much money into my toys at that point, I decided to just get a Lexus as a daily driver and keep the Batmobile for evenings.

I've had a 2003 Mercedes-Benz C320 4MATIC for a bit over 2 years. Has 114,000 kms now. It was a fabulous car and still has several things about it I like more than the Lexus, but I just could not handle fixing something every month any more. That, plus the beginning of rust spots on the rear doors spooked me, so I got this 2007 GS350 AWD with Levinson/Nav and Park Assist with 45,000 kms on it.
The original owner paid just a bit under $70K including tax. I got it for $33K. Had to put on a set of tires ($1200 - Goodyear Assurance TripleTred - fantastic!) and am getting windows tinted and clear guard on front this week ($550).
I am ordering the NAV Override kit from Prestigious Society tonight. I can barely wait. Later, I'll get an aux video input so I can play vids from iPhone.
I am pissed that I can not find a way to get it to dial the iPhone or transfer phone book entries to the car system.
Anyhow, prior to the Benz I owned a Honda Civic for 10 years which never had a single problem. I'm hoping that the Lexus will be almost that good. I have 11 months left to buy an extended warranty - expensive gamble. Would appreciate feedback.
Thanks.
