2006 LS430 before my 2006 GS430... Both are equally great cars and the quality of build is amazing.

Apologies for the long backstory. Kinda wild how we got to this point.

Had a 2017 Nissan Sentra SR Midnight Edition before this one. Only had it 6 months when it was totaled by a Chevy Silverado, driven by a man with a glass eye, a little over 2 weeks ago now (you can’t make this stuff up).

I’m not exactly a ballerina, so I never fit in that car very well, but I always made them work (I drove an ‘03 Dodge Neon for over 10 years from ‘08-‘18). We lucked out with a 2020 Altima as a rental & knew I needed a bigger car if we could hack it. We got a payout from ol’ one-eyed-Jack’s insurance that paid off the rest of the loan for the Sentra (we financed), but we were stuck without a car.

Larger cars were well beyond our budget but we kept looking. Landed on the GS a couple days ago, AND by some miracle got financing from the dealership, at the same rate as the Sentra we had (yes we plan on paying that off ASAP). Don’t know how long we’re gonna have this dude, hopefully another couple years still (not even 90k miles on the odo), but we’re gonna enjoy it for as long as possible.


May have been small, but she didn’t deserve to go out like that…. Had photos of when she was intact, but now I can’t find them. I’ll post them here if I do.

 

Last car I bought before the GS460 was the SC430. Still have it.

I drove Honda Accord for years, from college until 30. Bought my house, saved enough money, got into Porsches, then bought a 06 GS300, then my 08 GS350.
I am now on my 6th Porsche, (3 boxsers and 3 911s).
