Any way to turn ignition off without disconnecting Bluetooth?
Hi all. I am a new owner of a 2009 GS350 and loving every second of it. Its a sweet car.
Quick and maybe dumb question: I enjoy the bluetooth phone feature - works flawlessly. However, when I get to my destination and wish to continue to talk on the phone but turn off the car ignition, the bluetooth automatically disconnects. Anyway for me to go from ignition on mode directly to the accessories mode without loosing the bluetooth connection?
Id like to think that Lexus has thought through the possibility that if someone has a bluetooth phone going, the ignition switch would go straight to accessories mode.

That doesnt sound too safe, maybe Lexus should consider leaving the ACC power on when you shut off the engine. Most other manufacturer leave the ACC power on until the driver door is open.

Any easy way to change from Park to Neutral without starting the car?
Without applying pressure to brake...press start button twice...then put foot on brake and shift to neutral.

Thanks, but I try not to do that.
Thanks, I will try it next time.
Reason I ask is sometime I park with the wheel going over the curb a tiny bit. Not good for the tire/wheel and I don't want to start the car for that bit when gravity can do it's job a little.

Reason I shift car to neutral without starting is when I just need to roll the car out of the driveway for a bath. A car's battery and starter have only so many starts 'em...I don't wanna waste one for a mere 15 feet. Yet I always keep in mind the story of about friend of mine. He didn't close his driver's door enough to clear the garage door frame - thus effin' his driver's door on the roll-out!

Its just that the other designs are much safer, I was alway taught to put the car in park 1st and then shut off the engine. What if you forget to put the car in park after you shut off engine and it rolls into another car or the neighbor's cat
