Hello gentlemen..I have just joined and wanted to introduce myself. I am in Dallas, Texas and I am currently debating on the GS 350 and the 450H...so my posts are really for "intelligience gathering" ;-). I'll be jumping back and forth on the 450h and this forum. I think I will be waiting on the next Gen. 350..I really am looking for more hp on my next vehicle. It's a shame there is no TRD supercharger for this model.
Anyway, I'm glad to be here.

Welcome to Club Lexus and Happy Thanksgiving.

I think with either model, you can't go wrong. The 450 has noticeably more torque than the 350. The 350 is definitely no slouch though!

Good luck!

By next gen 350, if you mean the 4th generation GS then you could be waiting a couple of years.

Also I would expect different engines in the next gen GS. These engines are no longer competitive as the Infiniti M37 will have a 330hp V6 and the M56 will have over 400hp. Also the BMW 535 will put out 340-350hp, and the new 550 will output over 400hp with its twin turbo V8.

Batman...You're right ..I may have to wait 2 more years. I will be closing in on 50 and I really want to get a fast sedan...right now the GS 350 just lacks in that area.

I test drove the 450 and its noticeably quicker to the punch, but my 350 does what i want it to do. Also, choose the 450 if u want to stand out.

If you don't want to wait, the 2011 BMW 550i and the 2011 Infiniti M56 will both provide great handling luxurious fast sedan options and be available in Q1 2010.

welcome to the crew man. No matter what model you get, if you get a Lexus this is the best forum for information on that car. I dont care wether its bone stock or fully modified, this is the right place .
