Default 2006 gs300awd spark plug diy!!!!

Does anyone know how to change the spark plugs on this car? Also, what are the spark plug #'s and do i need to change them when I am at <50K miles?

er.. this is something i would definitely not DIY...

per manual, you need to do them at 60k to comply with some emission warranty.

^ how complicated is this?

do we need to remove all the intake and throttle body to access it?
just wondering for future reference.. it will be great if someone posts diy.

Can you please elaborate as to why this is not a DIY on the GS?

I've done the spark plugs on all my previous cars, and it's always been very straight forward.

Somebody at the service counter at Lexus told me that they have to remove the intake manifold or something to do it... I kind of just raised an eyebrow and went on my way after he said it would cost $420.

Hmm.... taking off an intake manifold? what's wrong with getting your hands a little dirty =]

on another note, i doubt they do, because then it'd be too complicated to do spark plugs.... i doubt lexus would do that, they can't be THAT stupid.... if they charge you $420 to do your spark plugs, they damn well better change your IM gasket, the gunk inside your IM, and put it back in 1 piece
