Any car cover suggestions?
Hello All,
I'm trying to find a car cover for my hubby's starfire pearl GS350. We live in Houston, TX which is a very humid, dirty, and sunny climate. So far I've found a couple of models from CoverKing: StormProof & Weathershield HP. Has anyone bought these before or know of any other good covers for the GS? Like all good Lexus owners, my hubby is super cautious about preventing scratches on his car. So, I'd also like the car cover to have a soft interior lining as well if possible.
Thanks for the help!

Weathershield HP is a good compromise keeping dust and moisture out and still breathing moisture out. Don't know the others.
The paint must be clean before putting any cover on it, otherwise it can get scratched simply by putting the cover on and taking it off. The cover must also be kept clean, otherwise it will lose its ability to let moisture out. Gusty winds may cause the paint taking a beating from the cover, which may also damage the paint, if some dust is between the paint and the cover.
It is best, if you do not need to use a cover. Could nevertheless be used protecting the paint from bird droppings or tree sap etc, if the car is left unattended and stationary for some time.
