Unhappy so i'm having GS withdrawal symptoms now...

at the first hint of freezing, my baby hasn't left the garage. it's been 2 weeks so far and counting....looks like i won't be able to drive my car until spring. at least i can say my car is never driven in the winter.

what about you? do you park your GS until spring or is it your daily driver even in the winter time? or do you have an old winter beater to drive while your GS is parked for the winter?

So let me guess, you order mods and you have boxes in the living room and garage

As for me, I try to drive the ES around town....I really need to fix her up...

I don't have a 3GS like you guys but I garaged my 2GS for 2 winters. Every day during winter I would go in the garage look at my car sigh and wish I could enjoy it. This winter I just wash the car every week and and enjoy it!

Pointless to park a car like this in the winter, isn't it. That's more than half the year going to waste for no reason, it's not like it's incapable of being a safe drive in the winter.

I do park my motorcycle for the winter, but only because it doesn't have heated seats and the fact that it would be suicide.

+1. Some members have their F's out on the road, I don't see why your GS would be incapable of winter driving, especially seeing you folks don't get much snow at all in BC.

I am new to GS site; current LS 430 owner. I want to explore test driving and buying a GS 460. I was told by 2 local dealers (San Diego) that they have NO inventory and only GS 460's they will see are when a customer orders. That would be fine, but how do I "play" before I decide? What have you found or heard. As a LS owner this was and is not a problem. k

if you don't plan to drive it all winter, do you still pay car insurance?

that's several hundred bucks wasted right there.

To me, it's just a car. Luxury and expensive, yes, but still a car. I refuse to worship it. I drive it all the time, rain or shine. That's why I paid big bucks for it, to enjoy it.

I treat my wife in the same manner: I sleep with her every night, not just on weekends and national holidays.

different strokes for different folks. some drive their ferrari or lambo in the snow, and people called them crazy or stupid. i could drive my GS in the snow and ice, i just choose not to. is that really wrong?
