Should have kept traction control ON. Too much wheel spin! I would have easily taken that 4 wheel drive Audi on from a dig!
Enjoy

Designo you use the stock Yokohama A10 Tires? If you use them, no wonder you have wheel spin. Try the Michelin PS2's. They change the GS =D!

IF you push the TRC button once, the tires will spin and the RPMS wont be lowered. However, the VSC is still ON. If you press it for 5 seconds, TRC and VSC are OFF will remain OFF until you press the button again or turn off the car. With this option, you can drift and the car wont stabilize itself when you loose control. With one click, you cant go "sideways" and TRC will be turned back ON when you increase your speed.

agreed the s3 is sexy id love to get my hands on one of those.
to the op, i think you gunned it too much off the start. try power braking to about 2k rpm, let off the brake while giving about 75% throttle at start til about 10mph and then floor it. This is what I did at the drag strip and was able to run consistently consistently under 14 sec with basically no tire slip off the launch
EDIT: do this with all traction control off (5 sec hold)
