Good luck with the mod. You are braver than me. I am always paranoid about any mods that involve electrical wiring and modfication. I guess I had to many friends with old Audi, benzs, and BMWs

What source are you trying to get video feed from? The headrest monitors will be able to display an external source like a dvd player, gaming system etc. It will NOT be able to display the navi screen interface. Say you have a play station hooked up to your vaistech unit. What this will do is display the play station on your nav screen and thats it. If you want to display it also to your head rest monitors, you will need to split the output from the source (play station) not try to take a feed from the nav unit. The easy route is to buy a rca splitter cable(female to male) which can be found at any electronics store.

edit: didnt see that you had the ipod video vaistech module. Unfortunately since your source is your ipod, there is no splitter for the proprietary apple cable as far as I know.

^ why are you not able to feed off the output of the DVD player if you have ML? or even the Vias unit? So long you can find the correct output you should be okay.

looks like only one wire can be the signal. Its W/B per the post above. I dont have my tech sheet but looks like thats it. Wonder if you can splice into the wire on the Vias to still get it to work?

lol... it took me about 1-2 minutes staring at the wiring diagram to go "**** it" and cut/ground the proper wires to have video in motion
