Also, here's how damage there can translate into frame damage: http://framefacts.com/LearnMore.aspx
Spin it however you want, and speculate however you want...but where is the frame damage to the OP's car? He said frame damage, not body damage. Was there really frame damage?

No spin. Damage unseen, but it's clearly impact damage. That translates into frame damage usually, but that can't be gauged. A bump like that, sure the frame took it a little, and he shouldn't be over paying for damage like that. Especially when they tried to hide it.

hey guys, I can see there much heat on this debate, what I actually lost was my down which was $1k + my first monthly payment ($500).

They actually bought the car back for $29,750.00 (which paid for the car + tax and license).

So really, all I lost was $1,500.00 for driving a car for 3k miles for 2 months.

I mean yeah its a lost, but in the end I find that I got a better deal out of it going to a 350. The 350 has made me ALOT happier then owning the 300.

Hope that clears a little bit of it.

In that case, $1500 is not that bad considering you are getting a GS350. Good luck with the new car, did you check under the bumpers yet ?

The 1500 cost on the first car is not too bad for driving t, particularly if you got a great deal on the GS350. congrats, and glad to see lexus dealer do the right thing.

hahaha thats the first thing I did looking at the new car, yeah i figured it will be worth it in the end, and im sure the 350 will command a better resale price later then the 300. Thanks guys for all the support.

ItsChris, if you're happy with the way it worked out, that's all that really matters, and it sure sounds like you are OK with the way it worked out.

It would be interesting to see/know if the dealer is re-selling your old GS again as a CPO, but probably not worth the time to investigate (though perhaps could be done online).

for working at the dealership for 6 years you can sue and win but ask what the dealership wants to do cause they will give you the option of giving you all your money back and giving the car back and that will be that i know that for sure but thats all you can get so dont think you can get more than you paid for sorry brother.

about to read page 3.

my car was serviced/bough at Tustin Lexus, I bought it from Commowealth at the Santa Ana auto Mall, makes me think twice about the quality of service/recalls that were done. should I worry? I got an extended warranty and will never take it to tusin/newport lexus. is Westminster still a good dealership to service for warranty/recall work? I have my own mechanic to do the non warranty/recall work .
