Are GS 460's not popular?

well, time for you to "gamble" and try
on the gs450h i have driven with apsss, that's the case. which is a great thing to have, because usually having thick / strong sway bars will eventually cause harshness in the ride (just look at 2gs with the trd sways) even on normal roads. but the apsss is awesome coz' when you are going straight, setting is "soft" so it's a lot more forgiving. but when you start to take harder and harder turns, the apsss will tighten things up more and more to counter the roll
awesome setup

f-sport sways only have application for GS350 RWD and AWD only. but i'm fairly sure that the sways for the RWD would fit my 450h (no application listed for my car). so it's possible that f-sport sways may fit your 460, but i'm not 100% sure. hopefully someone who knows for sure will chime in and give you confirmation.

better semi-aniline leather like on the LS, AVS, 18' rims standard, VGRS and after driving the GS350, I've noticed that the braking on the 460 is better, probably due to the ECB, electronic controlled braking or brake by wire
this is all on top of the v8 growl, for me.. totally worth it

Not to say that riding a motorcycle is for everybody but it's certainly a more economical and more visceral path to .

Cars don't have to be all about speed. It's nice if it goes where you want it to go without sputtering along but if you're a need for speed kind of person spend $10,000 on a japanese sport bike. My modest bike can go 0-60 in a shred over 3 seconds (and just sips gas doing it), that pretty much satisfies my need for speed and after using that any car no matter how powerful to me seems like a comfort machine.

What if I didn't care about price, and wanted a big engines.. and was nuts about the GS?
Which model should I get in this case?

Ive always been a car guy. If I am out to buy a particular car, I have always gone for the model's most powerful engine available with all the bells and whistles. I like to enjoy the power under my foot from time to time. Which is why I will not buy the less powerful motor of the two knowing that there is an even better one out there. Plus, the 3.5 V6 is more fun and slightly quicker in the IS than the GS due to weight among other things. Therefore, if I were in the market for a small V6 sport sedan, it would be the IS350, if I were in the market for midsize luxury sport sedan, it would have to be a V8 model, either the GS460 or E550. There is nothing quite like the feel of a V8's grunt/torque under your foot.

but just keep in mind, is350 and gs350, there's only very little weight difference
