Designo, you got to help me out here.

I got a set of Eibach springs sitting in my garage. I am debating whether or not to install them or not after reading people having this light and that light going off, premature tire and shock wear, alignment being off, and springs sagging.

You are one of the few people on this forum with Eibach springs installed. Are you having any of these issues with your GS? What was your experience with your previous Eibach installs, no issues?

And thanks for sharing your insight on your other cars. The best way to know how good a car is, is to acturally ask the owner.

Hey there,

The Eibach Pro Kits are very good. I have had no problems with them. One thing you must keep in mind is that these springs will settle in slightly more after a few hundred miles of driving.

I have had no lights or warnings go off, I don't think springs on their own can cause this as the stock shocks obsorbers are still in place.

Now regarding tyre wear and alignment... you must get your wheels aligned after about 500 miles of usage. The wheel shop will align your wheels back to default settings ( camber and toe ) and you should be fine.

How about blown shocks? I'm not a crazy driver, and the road here are pretty good. How long will the OEM shocks last? How long did your shocks last on your other installs?

Sorry about all questions. I just hate having to take my car to the mechanics all the time.

I have never had any stock shocks blow of sag or give way. If you drive moderately, your stock shocks will last you many many years.

I had Eibach springs on my W208 CLK320 for 80k miles. No problems.
I had them on my E39 M5 for 40k miles, no problems.
I have them on my E60 M5 and Lexus and am very happy so far.

Thank you Saeed. Me next plan is either F-Sport pipes or Tenabe Medallion Touring. I don't know which intake is the best for the V8 460. Any ideas?

Looks great!
I thought about getting spacers for long time. Maybe it's about time to do it...
So, 20mm works fine without any issue? like rubbing?

I been using Eibach springs on all my cars too. Never had any problem.

designo, do you think you could've gone wider? Or, 20mm seems to be the max?
