Default 72.5K miles....Original Brakes!

I drive mostly highway miles and the brakes still feel fine...just wondering if this is common, rare or concerning?

I would at least get them checked out to see how much pad life is left.. Then you u can judge when to replace them... My GF has 63k on her brakes.. but they need to be done asap..

concerning No, hwy miles are easy on the brakes, usually you hear a sqeak when the indicator is rubbing due to thin pads

WOW! That's amazing!

I needed new pads after 15k kilometers (not miles)!!!
But I'm only 27 years old, and drive like an 18 year old... )))

Its not how many miles you have, its how many time you stop

it's not the fall, it's the sudden stop that hurts.....

there was another thread recently where somebody had replaced his pads something like 3 times by 32K or some such thing. So we've established the extremes on the high and low sides. So to the original question, rare IMO. Be glad.
