Default Dim interior lights

Is it me or are the lights for the window switches and the button to open the hidden buttons really dim? and also, is the P,R,D,N letters by the shifter suppose to light up? on my girlfriends 08 TL-S the lights for all switches are bright and the gear letters light up too.

Why would you want those button light to be that bright? Supposed to be easy on the eyes. They don't need to be that bright to show you where and what the buttons are.

Mine are real dim. On a related note though. Can you shut the little LED that shines on the shifter, and the ones on the floor off. I can't figure out how to shut them off if you can.

Agree, as long as I can see where they are it's good enough. The buttons without any backlight like the those across the roof center panel bug me. That's on my 06.

No, I can't figure that out either. Maybe someone else has cracked the code?

I remember reading in the manual that they call this ???? (some kind of sexy word) lighting. Made it sound like they don't go out.

For them to be turned off, you have to fully decrease the brightness manually from the drop down panel on your left hand side.

Turning up the brightness doesnt work for the windows,lock/unlock buttons and "push" button. Are the letters by the shifter suppose to light up?
