Default my service advisor just told me...

that i have to pay outta pocket to get the click and clank out of my 06 GS 300's dashboard. He said that since the vehicle has over 70,000 miles and the warranty has expired that no TSIB or recall for that matter applies. Does this sound right to any of you???

Yes, that is right. The TSBs clearly state it is valid within first 4 years or 50,000 miles of service. Recalls are a different beast. There has never been a dash creak or rattle recall as it pertains to interior rattles on the 3GS.

TSB doesn't apply but Recall still do apply if it relates to your specific make/model/year/material.

TSB are fixes that are not life threatening.

Recall is life threatening.

At least this is how I know it.

Warranty definitely expired due to mileage.

Brief look at the TSIBs, it only applies when you're in warranty...

Recall on the other hand shouldn't have a limitation attached however I highly doubt that dashboard noise would be a recall.

Sorry and best of luck.
