thats because the awd is setup differently then the subarus. i believe the subarus are 60/40 where as the GS is 70/30.
newer nav means its the newer gen. 06 is using gen 4 and 07-09 is using gen 5. the screen is better with the gen 5. updated maps will not change the gen of the system.
