Tire Pressure Monitor
Why is it that the Tire pressure monitor is not 'standard equipment' on a car like the GS 350? I am amazed this is an option. I am also amazed they don't go a step more and make it so that it shows the exact pressure in each tire. I had that on my 2007 Corvette, and that is an awesome feature. Even if the Tire pressure monitor goes off on th GS 350, you don't know if it is one pound low or 20 pounds low. Does it even show you which tire is low? I am very disapponted because I thought my GS 350 I purchased yesterday had the monitor system, but I just realized it doesn't when I looked at my window sticker again. Is this important to anyone else, or is it just me?

hmm i thought all GS came with a TPMS system? That would be interesting if yours didn't, at least you dont have to deal with the tpms if you swap out your wheels, actually sounds better not to have it ! haha

of course another way is to take out air in one of your tire to say 20-25psi, drive a bit, and see if it lights up. just make sure you are close to a gas station

i think for the 3gs there is a button in the trunk area to toggle between tpms 1 and 2. i suppose if you toggle that switch to another and start driving, you will get a warning light saying it can't detect the other set of tpms
