Ticking / Grinding noise on start up

so i took my car in for this and a few other problems......they fixed the other problems and kept the car for almost two weeks because there was a back order on something. anyway they said they started up the car every single day at least twice a day and heard nothing!!!! i said that was b.s. because i hear the noise at least every other day. anyway i took the car home and the next morning when i started it up, what do i hear? that noise!!!!!! 
dealership said they have to hear it themselves if not they cant just go off what i say or show them on the internet.....i even said that people on cl have the same issue. so im screwed. the rep said that when i take the car in for the recall they'll try to reproduce the noise again.

I recorded a few start ups and sent them to lexus and they told me to bring the car in....and they fixed it!
they told me it was the cam shaft something something something....anyway i had that fixed and they did the recall fix while they were at it. if anyone wants to know exactly what it was they repaired let me know and i can look at my receipt. since the repair there has been no loud nasty engine noise just the rest of the nasty noises it normally makes

Thanks to sifrido for giving me the idea, but (my reply copied from another topic)
Just so you guys know I had the chattering noise for about 2-3 months. I kept complaining about the noise to the dealership, but they needed to "Replicate the Problem".
I got so fed up I started to record the noise. I went to the service department and played them a video with the noise. After hearing it in 3 different videos of my car, they decided to take care of the cam shaft issue.
Apparently, the 06 GS is not listed under the TSIB but the technician who watch the video with the service consultant says it does in fact effect the 06 also. Needless to say they fixed on 4 days ago, and I havent heard the noise since. Now im a happy Camper.
