gs350 vs gs430

For me, at least, would be such an easy choice.
The 350.
Why?
More fuel efficient, plenty powerful, in fact more powerful than the 430 (303 vrs 290 horses) albeit less torque, very fast.
The 430 is an old engine, and for being a V8 with 4.3 liters, very very underpowered.
"With the 3.5-liter V6, the Lexus GS is seriously quick, and most drivers will find its power reserves more than adequate in any situation"
"Lexus claims the rear-drive GS 350 will accelerate to 60 mph in just 5.7 seconds -- identical to the company's estimate for the V8-equipped GS 430."
"So quiet and vibration-free is the powertrain that, though plenty quick, the GS430 quells engine and exhaust roar to the point that rapid acceleration is rather dull,"

ummm, not sure if i agree with the "more powerful" part. the gs350 is not loud by any means, but when wot? it's louder and works harder than the gs430. it took me a while to get used to my gs350. at high speed pickup the car doesn't have the pull the v8 produces
