Thank you everyone for the warm welcome!
I don't think I'll be throwing my car into 'R' during driving to find out if the backup camera works, but thanks for 'advice'? I actually did a little deeper search and found out there is way (at least on the IS), so I'm not sure if that will work on the GS.
As far as warranty goes, I know it most likely voided my warranty, but I really enjoy entertaining and showing off the DVD capability while driving!![Woohoo](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/woohoo.gif)

Hello everyone! I'm a newb here to this forum and to the Lexus community! I used to have an '05 BMW 530i that I totalled, and this past weekend I purchased a used CPO '06 GS300 fully loaded. I am VERY happy to say that I am trully enjoying this car waaaay more than my beemer. I just finished doing the DVD hack thanks to everyone here at this forum!
Now I have a couple of questions:
-Is there a way to turn on the backup camera while driving?
-What video file formats can the DVD changer play (.avi, .mpeg4)?
Thank you everyone for all the hints and tricks!!

My car ended up in a ditch due to me to paying attention as I was reaching for my phone.
I was actually looking at a 535i(twin turbo), but their base model(non-sport, no navi, over 70k miles) was over $30k. I paid $25k fully loaded with 49k miles, and no queaks/creaks on my dash after the mod.

Depreciation on my 2004 525 was even worse, I paid $32k in 2007 and it was valued at $10k on KBB...ouch
Yup, my insurance went up about $30 extra a month
